Refund policy
UK & NON-EU CUSTOMERS:
- CHANGE OF MIND - RETAIL CUSTOMERS
If you wish to return your goods for a full refund then you have 30 days to send them back to us. Simply email returns@inspyerlighting.co.uk providing your name and order number and we will contact you to let you know the process for returning the items. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning any such item(s) to us.
In all cases you must ensure that Goods returned to us are in the original and undamaged packaging, securely packaged, unused, undamaged and in 'as new' condition. It is at the discretion of Inspyer Lighting to refuse a refund if the light is returned damaged or not as sold. Please DO NOT write on the original product box, please print and tape the label to the box.
Please contact us to discuss the best method to arrange return of the Goods. If you arrange the return the light yourself we strongly advise that you insure the item(s) for its/their full value - in the event a package is lost or damaged in transit we will be unable to refund you for the the cost of your item(s).
If you order Made To Order, Bespoke or Personalised Goods you cannot cancel or return the order unless the goods are damaged or faulty.
- CHANGE OF MIND - TRADE ACCOUNT & COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS
By placing an order you are offering to purchase the goods on the terms of this Agreement. Once an order is accepted it is final and binding and you shall have no right to return the Goods unless there is a fault or defect which is covered by a warranty. For clarity, the Company does not provide a Change of Mind policy for Trade or Commercial Customers for standard or bespoke products.
If the Goods are faulty or defective they must be returned to us are in the original undamaged packaging and securely packaged. It is at the discretion of Inspyer Lighting to refuse a refund if the light is returned damaged or not as sold. Please DO NOT write on the original product box, please print and tape the label to the box.

- EXCHANGES - RETAIL CUSTOMERS ONLY
If you wish to exchange an item then please contact our Customer Services team by calling 01992 252900 or emailing returns@inspyerlighting.co.uk informing us of your intention to return the unwanted Goods and details of the Goods you wish to exchange them for. You have 28 days from receipt of your items to send them back to us (except Made To Order, Bespoke or Personalised Goods). You must pay the cost of returning the item(s) to us. Upon receipt and satisfactory inspection of the Goods we will make arrangements for new items to be ordered and delivered to you. You must ensure that any Goods returned to us are in the original packaging, securely packaged, unused, undamaged and in 'as new' condition. It is at the discretion of Inspyer Lighting to refuse an exchange if the light is returned damaged or not as sold.

RIGHT TO CANCEL (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
Distance Sales
If you are an EU consumer purchasing products online, by telephone, or through other distance-selling methods, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period expires 14 days after:
You receive the goods; or
A third party designated by you receives the goods.
Exercising Your Right to Cancel
To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us using the details provided in this policy and clearly state your decision to cancel.
You may use the following wording:
“I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the purchase of the following goods: [order details].”
- RETURNS & REFUNDS
If you cancel within the statutory cooling-off period:
You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.
Products should be returned in a condition suitable for resale, subject to your right to inspect them as you would in a retail store.
We will reimburse all payments received for the returned goods where required by law.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that they have been returned.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
- EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
The statutory right to cancel may not apply to:
Custom-made, bespoks, made-to-order or personalized lighting products
Products manufactured to customer specifications
Sealed items that have been opened and are unsuitable for return due to hygiene or safety reasons (where applicable)
Other products exempted under applicable consumer law
Any applicable exclusions will be clearly communicated before purchase.

ALL CUSTOMERS:
- FAULTY ITEMS & DAMAGES
You must inspect the condition of your order upon delivery. If you notice that the package has some damages on the outside, we kindly ask you to notify the courier and mark it down on the delivery slip. If an item from your order is damaged you must notify our Customer Service team WITHIN 24 HOURS of receipt of the delivery by sending an email to returns@inspyerlighting.co.uk. Our Customer Service team will then get in touch to help resolve the issue as soon as possible.
- POSTAGE COSTS
We will pay the costs of return if: (a) the Goods are faulty or not as described; (b) you cancel due to us altering the Goods or these Terms; (c) there is an error in the Good’s pricing or description; or (d) you have a legal right. In all other circumstances (including where you change your mind) you must pay for the return.
Where Goods are returned due to change of mind we will refund the price paid for the Goods by the method you used for payment. However, we may make reasonable deductions from the price (up to their entire value) to: (a) compensate us for any damage to the Goods or loss of value caused by your handling them; (b) meet our collection or return delivery costs. You must ensure that Goods returned to us are in the original packaging and securely packaged.
