Bouroullec Brothers Career

The Bouroullec brothers have won numerous awards including Designers of the Year at the Salon du Meuble in 2002 and the Designer of the Year award for Now! Maison & Objet in Paris in 2011.

Their work has included a tree house bedroom and a table with a bowl molded from a single piece of heat-welded marble. The whimsy of Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec’s works has led Erwan to note that, “We don't want to make only functional pieces.”

Bouroullec Brothers Lighting

Several exhibitions have been devoted to the brothers, and their lighting designs have been made part of permanent collections at Musée National d’Art Moderne Centre Pompidou and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Design Museum in London, and the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam.
