Oluce Lyndon Suspension Light

The Lyndon suspension light by Oluce is a project by Vico Magistretti created in 1977 and developed over the years into a wide range that includes many variations and sizes: for both indoor and outdoor use as well as suspension, floor or wall lamps.

The candelabra-style body with chromed-plate or satin gold finish, typical of the family of lamps designed by Magistretti, can, from time to time be bent according to the required use of the lamp, extending to enclose the transparent glass spheres, inside which the light bulb is hosted.

The architect and designer’s love for simple, geometric shapes masterfully makes a comeback, returning lost time and the atmospheres experienced in a large capital city at the end of the 19th century to contemporary times in an object that is more relevant than ever.

About Oluce - Founded in 1945 by Giuseppe Ostuni, Oluce is one of the oldest Italian design companies still operating in the lighting world. The design qualities of the lamps make them icons that communicate across the generations to become an integral part of the homes they furnish. Unusual materials, unexpected shapes and new lighting sources have, over time, led to revolutionary designs by Tito Agnoli, Joe Colombo, Marco Zanuso and Vico Magistretti, who since the fifties have rewritten the history of lighting.
