Shhh! is an extraordinary light object with a subtle deception that embodies the core of Ingo’s design philosophy: the art of making unexpected connections and bringing seemingly opposite elements into a harmonious balance. Shhh! deliberately plays with the viewer’s perception. A classic lightbulb, encased in over-ear headphones – as if trying to escape the noise of the world. But the true surprise lies in the origin of the light source: it is not the lightbulb itself that shines, but the light is hidden inside the soundproof headphones and gently spreads through the glass. Two integrated spotlights cast focused accents on the surfaces below.
