Technical Specification

The 38.3 by Bocci is a cluster of three light sources and two moons. A stiff copper tubing system provides electricity and suspension, enabling compositional freedom on either the horizontal or vertical plane.

The 38 collection pushes the fabrication technique originally developed for 28 to its technical and material limits. A large glass sphere is blown with a multitude of haphazard interior cavities, which intersect and collide with each other in unpredictable ways. Several of these satellite cavities are deep enough to hold earth and succulent or cacti plantings, while others house lighting elements.

Comes with TRIAC dimmable driver as standard, 1-10V and DALI drivers are available on request.

Longest and shortest lengths are determined by buyer, Bocci fabricates all lengths between these measurements. Specified shortest and longest lengths are from the underside of the canopy to the underside of the pendant. By default Bocci will add 25% to the total length for the copper to be composed. Upcharge applies for copper lengths over 3m. 10m drop length maximum.
