Louis Poulsen

The mission of Louis Poulsen is to design and market unique lighting, of functional design and high quality. Their philosophy is summed up in the words function, comfort and ambience. Together with the company's four core values – Partner, Passion, Performance and Pulse providing the basic foundation for all internal and external cooperation. Over the years, Louis Poulsen has excelled not only as a supplier but also as a partner, in countless projects around the world.

Louis Poulsen's approach to architectural development began with its collaboration with one of the best known and respected light designers, Poul Henningsen. Together with Poul Henningsen, Louis Poulsen created a lighting and product philosophy summed up in the words function, comfort and ambience.

This philosophy continues to this day with the collaboration with many acclaimed designers such as Alfred Homann, Anu Moser, Arne Jacobsen, Christian Flindt, Julie Richoz, Louise Campbell, Kibisi, Foster + Partners, Ross Lovegrove, PLH design and Verner Panton.
