Technical Information

Dimming: Integrated LED Dim To Warm version (Ø 400 & Ø 550 only) - via Phase Cut Mains Dim (suitable for standard UK wiring). Integrated LED version (Ø 400 & Ø 550 only) - via DALI (Specialist wiring required. Contact us for further information). 

The Above pendant light by Louis Poulsen emits soft comfortable downlight. The conical shape and the matt, white-painted inside help assure even distribution of the light. The opening in the top of the fixture provides decorative illumination of the arch above, and ensures that the fixture retains the full expression of its visual shape both when illuminated and when switched off.

The Above pendant by Danish designer Mads Odgård represents an overtly simplistic lighting design. The designer himself is a minimalist to the core and creates understandable products, where function is valued to the same degree as form and quality. The pendant’s silhouette features a graphic triangle, creating a pleasant downward light. The arch-shaped opening at the top, to which the name Above refers, is revealing the cord and resulting in a discreet upward light and subdued ambience.
