Since the launch of the Range, Tom has continuously explored ways to introduce colour into the iconic Chrome Melt light. One standout experiment—taking inspiration from tinted sunglasses—involved the use of dichroic plating, a technique that layers multiple colours onto a filter through a precise PVD process.
This special coating is applied to the large LED diffuser, creating a captivating, psychedelic play of colour that dances and reflects within the shade. The result is a vivid, ever-changing glow that transforms the atmosphere with a touch of optical magic.
