The Louis Poulsen PH 5 320 Opal Pendant Light is faithful to the original design and scaled down to 320 mm, it features a new, lighter opalescent material that creates a softer, more diffused light experience.
Based on Poul Henningsen’s renowned three-shade system, the PH 5 320 Opal combines the original PH 5’s glare-free, directional light with ambient illumination from its slightly translucent, glossy shade. The interplay of light, gloss, texture, and translucency adds new depth and character to the material and light experience.
The simplified construction and removal of the bottom diffuser glass allow more light to be emitted downward. Its compact 320 mm size makes the PH 5 320 Opal ideal for smaller tables, or used in pairs above larger tables and countertops.
