Honouring Poul Henningsen’s legacy, the PH 2/2 Wall Lamp Centenary Edition is based on his iconic three-shade System PH, first developed in 1926 to provide high-quality, glare-free lighting for a variety of purposes.
The lamp combines aged, lacquered brass with mouth-blown, four-layered Amber upper glass and three-layered White Opal lower shades. Glossy on the outside and sandblasted matte white on the inside, the shades provide warm, ambient upward light and soft, diffused, glare-free downward illumination.
With its compact proportions and characteristic 3:2:1 shade ratio, the PH 2/2 is designed to be particularly glare-free and works beautifully when placed high on a wall. A dark brown textile cord completes its distinctive vintage character, offering a contemporary interpretation of 100 years of System PH heritage.
