A Casambi Bluetooth interface is available for Nemo lights with integrated LED. This module can be used to dim using standard UK mains wiring.
Casambi Overview
Casambi lets you control and personalise light to suit your needs. Thanks to an app activated and used via bluetooth by smart devices (iPhone, iPad, Android etc), it will be possible to detect any Casambi enabled device in the vicinity and to regulate their luminous effects, to make your light, your lamp, your home increasingly unique and personal.
The Casambi system is easy and user-friendly. You only need to install the light source and the Casambi LED driver module and match it through Bluetooth with your smart phone, tablet, or other control devices.
It is very simple to use: activate Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet, download the free app and turn on your Casambi enabled lamp. The app will then detect the presence of the Casambi enabled device. Touch the icon to turn your lamp on and off, to adjust brightness and colour temperature (if applicable to that light) according to your preferences.
Use the Scenes screen to create as many lighting scenarios as you wish. Using the timer, scenarios can be automatically activated or deactivated, even when your smartphone or tablet is off.
Family and friends can download the app for independent control of the lamps, but you are the one who sets their access levels. As an alternative, your Casambi device can be controlled using a compatible portable switch (not supplied) for example https://casambi.com/ecosystem/xpress/ which can even be mounted to a wall in a traditional dimmer style.
Casambi App
The Casambi app works as one of the user interfaces in a Casambi lighting control solution, as the commissioning tool and as well as a remote gateway. The Casambi app works with iOS as well as Android devices, like smartphones, tablets and smartwatches. The app is free to download by any end-user.
The Casambi app is made by user interface experts and in a way, that anyone – regardless of technical proficiency – can use it. The Casambi lighting control technology gives a possibility for Casambi’s partners to implement and develop anything needed for a full-featured lighting control system, but the Casambi app only shows in the user interface the functionality that is relevant to that particular installation. Therefore, the Casambi app is equally well suitable for the professional lighting market as well as the residential field.
