'a-emotional light', is the new brand formerly known as 'a by arturo alvarez Under the motto evo-lution, the company has an expanded creative team, finding room for different designers with very diverse sensitivities in a co-creation space where the two pillars of the company are immutable: handcrafted production and emotional light.

The Gea collection takes its name from the primordial goddess, mother earth. The Gea floor lamp, designed by Arturo Álvarez, features a zipper that allows the handmade mesh piece to be opened or closed. It emits a soft, enveloping light, which is evenly distributed throughout the structure. The lamp won a Good Design Award in 2007, an elegant sculptural volume that blends into any environment adding a note of distinction to the room.
