The Artemide Droplet ceiling light is a captivating luminaire designed by Ross Lovegrove. Crafted entirely through digital means, it resembles a pool of liquid aluminum reflecting two luminous pebbles. These biomorphic "pebbles" create a captivating play of light, resembling raindrops or mercury droplets. Equipped with dimmable LEDs, the suspended pebbles on stainless steel plates produce mesmerizing lighting effects through reflected and upward-distributed illumination. The pebbles, made of chrome-plated thermoplastic resin, coupled with an aluminum reflector and lacquered steel structure, contribute to the luminaire's distinctive aesthetic.
